Residential Programs

In our Residential Treatment home, you’ll leave us before we leave you

Youth Intensive Services maintains a staff-secure, trauma-informed Residential Treatment Program for adolescent males and females between the ages of 12-18. We provide evidence-based therapy in a home-like setting that’s therapeutic, family-centered and community-involved.

We’re essentially a one-stop shop. We take care of individual counseling, drug and alcohol treatment, mental health treatment, family counseling, individual and group therapy, medication management, case management, on-premises schooling, and after-care follow-up for one year after discharge.

The way up from rock bottom starts here

We’re a Title IV E certified agency, as well as being certified by Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services (OHMHAS). Further, we’re accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

Trauma-focused, therapeutic environment

We’re generally a 4 to 6-month intense program. Some stay longer depending on how they’re progressing. Residents also receive all their schooling and academic services on-site through a partnership with Summit Academy. Our therapeutic environment is trauma-focused and includes at least 20 hours of treatment services weekly.

Youth Intensive Services counselors employ a variety of therapies depending on the personality and unique needs of the student. Oftentimes, residents form a strong, positive bond with their therapist, which serves as a prototype and vehicle for healthy relationships with adults.

We go above and beyond for the young men and women we serve, and we genuinely care about what happens to them when they leave.
